“Okay, AppMan, here is the problem. I was sitting in a restaurant eating a delightful meal, talking with my wonderful wife, and she was going on and on about... well, I am not even sure what she was talking about. But anyway... while she was jabbering on and on, I was chewing my food and thinking about the football game I was missing. I took another bite and landed my tooth in something really hard. It was so hard it cracked my tooth. My wife had to take me to the dentist to get it fixed. Here is the problem; now I have an unexpected dentist bill. “So, AppMan, with all the products you have sold to me over the past few years, will any of those policies pay me for my unfortunate injury?” “Well, George, let’s review the facts. "Fact Number 1: Always pay attention to what your wife it talking about. Had you been paying closer attention, you may have asked a question which would have allowed you to swallow your food faster than normal. This, in turn, may have allowed whatever chipped your tooth to be swallowed instead of chipping your tooth! "Fact Number 2: This is a Dental issue not a Life, Disability or Long Term Care issue. "Okay, George, let’s review the policies I have sold you in the past few years. "You have a Life insurance policy that only pays upon your death. Since you walked into my office, it would be apparent that you did not choke to death! "You have a Long Term Care policy, and fortunately, you did not have to be admitted to a nursing facility. "The annuities you bought from me last year do not have any kind of a benefit for going to the dentist. However, you could take up to 10% without penalty if you need help with your bills. "So, George, that leaves you with only one other policy that you have purchased, your Disability Income policy. But as we both know you did not get disabled and you have not been out of work for more than 90 days. You have what is called a Non-Disabling injury. The Disability Income plan I carefully selected for you includes a Non-Disabling injury benefit. Which means you could receive a reimbursement payment for your dental injury bill. This plan pays up to the amount of the injury bill, up to the lesser of one-half your monthly disability benefit or $3,000 max! You currently have a monthly disability benefit of $6,000, therefore you could get up to $3,000 to help cover the cost of you not paying more attention to your wife…George, we can file that claim today!" "WOW, AppMan, you sure do know how to sell me the Best policies in the Insurance Market! I know with you on the job you are always hunting for the best products for your clients. See you next time, AppMan. " Contact the AppMan team at Financial Markets, Inc. today for more information on this product. Written by: AppMan© |
